Round Table was born in England back in 1927. Louis Marchesi was a young Rotarian and felt the need existed for a club where the young business men of the town could meet on a regular basis and exchange ideas.
Southampton Round Table was founded in 1928, and is the fourth oldest Round Table in the world. 6th July 2023 marks the 95th anniversary of our charter!
Being part of Round Table is first and foremost about having fun!
We meet regularly for social events such as dinner and pub evenings, bowling, clay-pigeon shooting and go-karting.
Round Table is also about giving back to the community. To this end we organise many events to raise money for charities and other good causes. The includes our regular black-tie event, Banquet and Ball, and the Mayflower Park fireworks down by Southampton docks.
Our home base is The Olive Tree located in Ocean Village, Southampton.
We have a regular chaired meeting with food and drinks on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30 PM. If you're interested in coming along we'd love to meet you!
